The best thing you can do is to keep track of what you’re spending now for a certain time period. Save every receipt (cash and otherwise) for 2 weeks or a month. Make a list and determine where your money is going now. I separate mine into categories like bills, groceries, gas, savings, clothing, car maintenance, personal maintenance, children’s activities, entertainment…etc. After you look at the numbers, compare it to your income. Do you have money left over? If so, start an emergency fund. You should have at least 6 months of expenses saved. Are you spending more than you make? Then it’s time to cut back and figure out how to save and get out of debt. Set a budget and then, the hardest part…..stick to it! lol

Hope that helps, good luck 🙂

Yes it is possible, but you should at least hire an electrician to help with the wiring of the inverter.
I did a system where the homeowner installed the modules and I did the wiring.

creating a family budget plan

Answer by Joseph R

First, creating a family budget plan. Cut down on unnecessary expenses such as eating out at restaurants, buying expensive electronic stuff such as iPods, & start saving more money in your personal account (savings/checking). If your kids are going to college someday you can spend that money you saved which will help them greatly (although your kids should apply for scholarships and grants to make things easier). Start an emergency fund that has about at least 3 months worth of expenses if you and/or your husband were to become ill or something, that way you won’t be too stressed out.

Start making some goals for saving money on:
College
Vacations
Christmas gifts / birthday gifts
or whatever else you have in mind.

Have a family meeting BEFORE you start making these changes. Go over on what needs to be changed and how much money you are aiming to save/spend on.

I have found a nice template on the link below that can help you.

Creating a family budget is one of the best ways for families to save for college, retirement and other future endeavors. Begin by assessing your spending habits, budgeting accordingly and spending wisely, and your budget can help you build a secure future for you and your family.

On this website “Free Financial Advice” they offer more advice on handling your money.

What Can I Do With A Bachelor Degree in Accounting and A Master Degree in Economics?

what can i do with a bachelor degree in accounting and a master degree in economics?i have a master degree in economics and i work as a financial budgets analyst. i am looking forward to continue my study but in a different major which is economics, how can i link economics to my field and my career, what alternative career i can have after getting a master degree in economics?

Best answer- A Master Degree in Economics :

Answer by NotAnyoneYouKnow
SSBS:

One, relatively unknown, but growing field that you could consider is business valuation.

Think about a business valuation firm like a company that does appraisals on real estate, but in this case, the appraisal is being done on the value of a business.

Depending on the purpose for which the valuation is needed, the challenge is to determine the value of the business as of today, as of some point in the past, as of some point in the future, or some combination of all of the above.

A company might seek a valuation as part of a merger or acquisition process – to determine what would be a reasonable price to pay for the company.

A business owner might seek a valuation as part of a divorce or as part of the dissolution of a group of owners or partners – to determine how each person should be fairly compensated for their interest in the company.

Courts require valuations as part of lawsuit settlements.

Upon the death of a business owner, valuations are needed to split the proceeds amongst heirs.

Businesses can be valuated as a going concern (as if they were going to remain in operation), or they can be valuated for dissolution value.

I don’t know if any of that sounds the least bit interesting to you, but it’s a highly lucrative profession. A proper valuation is a major project that involves site visits, interviews with key personnel, auditing of the books, research into economic market conditions both within and outside the industry, etc., etc. Companies pay tens of thousands of dollars for a full-scale valuation.

I was involved in this industry for a while, and it’s the kind of rare opportunity that combines accounting and economics. You might want to check it out.

Wikipedia has a credible introduction to the field, and there are a number of websites that provide additional information. If that’s something you’d be curious about, you’ll have to complete education in the process, and earn the appropriate certifications and credentials. The Institute of Business Appraisers is one organization that provides business valuation training.

I hope that helps you – good luck!

The Advantages of Preparing a Home Budget?
I have to prepare a project based on home budget. PLZ help.

I want an introduction to my project ( home budget ) and also its advantages (Please mention in points).

Thank You.

Best answer:

Answer by Chamm2010
The advantages of preparing a home budget are extensive. You save funding by doing it yourself rather going to a financial planner.
You can find what are your priorities and spend more on those than desires. For example : you would spend more on gas than cable because you need gas to go places. As far as cable is concerned, you can live without.

I know this is brief but it should help give you ideas on which direction you want to take this project.

How do I make career transition from retail banking/finance to financial analyst…..?

Question by StylishT: How do I make career transition from retail banking/finance to financial analyst…..?

Financial AnalystI have 7 years retail banking experience but want to continue in finance but NOT in sales.I want a job as a budget or financial analyst what the hell would I need to do to get one? I do have a 6/63 but I want out of sales.

Best answer:

Answer by Stargazing
Getting an MBA with a concentration in finance is generally the way to go. There are usually a variety of good MBA programs out there, many with part time, evening, or weekend schedules so that people can go to school and work at the same time. In addition, you may be eligible for your employer covering part of your tuition, if your employer believes this is a good career avenue for you.

Employment of financial analyst should grow much faster than average for all occupations through 2018. Banks and mutual fund companies will need more financial analyst to recommend which stocks and bonds they should buy or sell. But competition is expected for jobs, because many people want them.
